As marketers, we always remind webinar presenters to use a landline phone to deliver their presentation. Using a traditional phone usually improves the quality of the audio broadcast and the recording. Traditional phone lines have less risk of being garbled or losing connectivity. But what happens when your webinar presenters don’t have a landline?
No matter how good your slides are and how dynamic your presenter is, listening to 30 minutes of non-stop content is challenging for end-users. You should plan to interrupt the formal presentation every 15 minutes with an activity to engage the audience.
Earlier this week I received a webinar invitation from an e-invoicing company. I probably get 5-10 invitations to webinars a week most of which I ignore. But this one caught my eye. The reason I found this particular webinar more interesting than others was the promotion, which offered a free continuing education credit to attendees. This is a technique I think more technology vendors should experience with to boost webinar attendance levels.
