In my posts earlier this month, I began a discussion about how the new applications on LinkedIn could be used by corporate marketing departments to better communicate with customers. Another interesting business application, which shows high potential long term as low-cost mechanism for performing primary market research is end-user polls.
There are ten new applications that have been added to LinkedIn recently from third parties such as TripIt, Wordpress and Amazon.com. My initial reaction exploration of these applications was to assess how they could be used to personalize and enhance my LinkedIn experience. However, my mind quickly wandered into exploring the potential of the new applications for corporate marketing purposes as well.
